I personaly like Sorrows Furnace better. DoA went overboad with the massive spawns of enemies that require a cooky cutter approach to even try to beat it. Truly unfair o the average player who doesn't have several hours to waste for what adds up to nothing special. I'm sorry I will stay in SF, UW and FOW.

/signed.......meh, I'm not a heavy PvE fan either way anymore. I went a maybe 5 or 6 times with pugs (Guildless).......and we got the first couple mobs on the City quest at most before it got out of hand. Make the Rit hero available to everyone at an accessible place like the Temple of Balthazar.......seeing as Ritualists are as useful as the common housepet.

Just give it time before The Spearmen come to nerf the place

edit - spelt spearman wrong..go fig

You read it wrong. I asked, did they nerf The Deep? Then you answer no. And then I say indeed, they didn't, so why would they nerf DoA?

More like less than 1%. Before the gold weekend, DoA was down to one active district and half the people were forming chest running groups or buying/selling gems. Very few were grouping, and the ones that were only needed three of the 10 professions.

Funny how many people signed without even trying it. It's also pretty telling to look at the signature.

Mostly just monks, warriors, eles, and a few rangers. Where's the Dervish support???

That was one of the biggest threads ever to hit Riverside non-nerf-related, and that's saying something. So I don't know where you get that idea from, but it was definitely asked for. And as for it being restricted, if by "restricted" you mean if you don't know how this game works you can't win, then yes, it's restricted, because you have to actually, you know, lern2play in order to get anything done down there.
Unien for the win.

Players requested endgame content. They did not request an elite mission. There is a huge difference between the two.
Anet gave this area as an Elite mission NOT extra endgame content. As an Elite mission it should be HARD, not something everyone can easily do. The stuff called endgame content that you are looking for is right after the end mission.

Honestly, if you want the DoA toned down, you should probably either stop sucking, or realize you're a casual player.

Funny post. However i want DoA nerfed. yeah maybe your right i sucky there, oh yeah thats right i was one of the first to 55 there. so its definitely not sucking part. And as far as being a casual player, LMAO 4500+ hours with 18 chars, I'm definitely not casual.

Now the reasons it needs nerfed are very clear. If you have .01%-1% of the populace playing there at any given time, joy the fun of that getting a group. Right now theres a good 15% people there and its only 1.5 dists almost all the time. And it not fun in the slightest. I do happen to like to get PUGS occasionally whether or not they are a perfect group or not. And wait till you get to mallyx.

well, tbh, i was quite dissappointed in DoA, i was hoping for an area that was hard to beat, but possible to beat with various builds, mostly involving tactics to succeed.

oh well, guess that just means i won't have to bother with some pve after all

/signed. The more difficult you make PvE areas, the better. Many of us enjoy "impossible" challenges, so we can show that they are possible with enough practice and effort.

GW should have at least one area where the fanaticals can go. DoA is it.
